Aroma Life for high blood pressure

We realized that about a year ago, Toby had stage 1 high blood pressure. High blood pressure runs in his family so it wasn't much of a surprise. Lavender and Aroma Life are both oils that can be used to help lower blood pressure. Because lavender is cheaper, we tried that first...with some changes but not enough. We got a bottle of Aroma Life. Within a week we starting noticing a bigger change than the lavender gave us. It was amazing! He continued to use it until he ran out of the oil. We decided to see if his blood pressure would remain normal without using the oil. That is one of the many benefits of essential oils, sometimes it just takes a bit to correct the problem and then it is no longer needed. So far he has been off the oil for about 2 months and his blood pressure is remaining the same. I am posting Toby's blood pressure numbers so you can see what we saw.

Tidbits from a book I'm reading

I started reading, Embraced by the Essence by Dr. Marcy Foley. While the book is not promoted by Young Living oils, the author references and mainly uses Young Living products. I thought I would share some interesting things I have learned about oils from this book...most are direct quotes.

The law says essential oils can be called pure if they contain only 5% or more pure essential oil. Only pure, top quality, unadulterated, uncut essential oils have therapeutic value.

Essential oils go into the body and enhance the ability of the body to do what it is supposed to do naturally.

Essential oils are multifunctional so that they have a wide spectrum of application. They work for the need that is present.

They can affect an organ in 3-5 seconds from contact to results. Essential oils stay in the body about 20min to 2 hours and leave no residuals. While oils are not accumulative in the body, their frequency and effect is cumulative.

There is a very interesting chapter on the frequency of our body and oils and how they work. However, that will be another post as I don't want to overwhelm you with new information.

The Monsters in Wyatt's room.

As most of you know, we have been dealing with night terrors with Wyatt. I was initially using the lavendar oil which helps Wyatt calm down and fall asleep. But then he started a few months back waking up within the first hour or so that he was asleep, crying, screaming, etc. The look in his eyes were horrible, it was like he was seeing something scary but we couldn't see it. I did a lot of research and decided to try the peace and calming oil. I wanted something that would put positive thoughts into his dreams. We have been using it for a little over a week now. I could tell a difference immediately. Even if he woke up, he would maybe just cry for a minute but I could easily get him back to sleep. Sometimes he didn't wake at all!! Then, about 4 or 5 days ago, he became scared to sleep in his room, especially to fall asleep in his room. I asked him why and he said because the monsters were going to get him. So, mama made him some monster juice, a spray bottle with water, lavendar oil and peace and calming oil. I told him we would spray his room before he went to bed and that would get rid of the monsters. I also gave him a flashlight and told him to use it if any monsters do get in...they don't like light. :) So far the combination of everything seems to be working very well and Wyatt fell asleep (after the 3rd night of monster juice) in his bed alone...with the flashlight of course. :)

Di-Gize for digestion & reflux problems

My husband has been using Di-Gize for a few months now. As most of you know, he recently had surgery for a hiatal hernia. Basically, he had constant reflux due to his stomach coming up through his esophagus. About a month and a half before he had his surgery, he started taking 2 drops of Di-Gize in a capsule filled the rest of the way with olive oil (they recommend 1 drop but since his was so severe he did 2 drops). He noticed a difference within a few weeks. He stopped taking his over the counter med and was just taking the Di-Gize. He has had his surgery now and he continued to take it for a few weeks.
